"Relationship Dictates Behavior"

What happens during the consultation?
The $200 consultation is a deep-dive session where we assess your dog’s behavior, discuss your goals, and explain our training approach. We cover the basics of canine behavioral psychology and the core of our method: relationship-based training. You’ll learn how dogs think, why behavior occurs, and how to establish trust, structure, and communication.

What types of dog training do you offer?
We offer a variety of training options including basic obedience, advanced commands, puppy training, leash walking, behavior modification, and private one-on-one sessions. We also address issues such as barking, jumping, fear, aggression, and anxiety.

What age should I start training my dog?
It’s never too early or too late! Puppies can begin basic training as early as 8 weeks old.
Older dogs can learn too, no age restrictions!

How long does it take to train a dog?
Every dog learns at a different pace, but noticeable progress can usually be seen within the first few sessions.
Consistency at home plays a big role in your dog’s success.

Do you offer group classes or private sessions?
Yes! We offer both group classes (pack walks) for socialization and private sessions for personalized attention.
We’ll help you choose the best option for your dog’s needs.

What methods do you use?
As Reward-Based, Balanced Trainers, we distance ourselves from archaic techniques such as Alpha/Dominance Theory, compulsion-based training, and intimidation tactics. Instead, our approach is centered on empowerment through education. We don't just teach you how to train your dog; we equip you with a deeper understanding of the principles behind each training method. Our goal is to make you a more knowledgeable and confident owner, capable of fostering a bond with your dog that transcends mere obedience.

Can you help with aggressive or fearful dogs?
Yes. We specialize in behavior modification and have experience working with dogs that display fear, aggression, or anxiety.
A custom plan will be created for your dog’s specific needs.

Do you train the dog or teach me to train my dog?
Both! We train your dog and also give you the tools and knowledge you need to maintain and build on their progress at home.

How do I get started?
Just contact us through our website, phone, or email to schedule a consultation.
We’ll assess your dog’s needs and recommend a training plan that works for you.

Where does the training take place?
We offer flexible options: In your home, or even virtually, depending on what works best for you and your dog.

What is the price for training lessons or consultations?
Initial Consultation: $200. Training Lessons: $150–$200 per session. Each session typically lasts around 1 hour. These are flat rates—your time with the trainer will vary based on your dog’s progress and needs. We don’t rush results or cut corners.

What Townships do you service?
Most towns in the Monmouth County area, within 30-45 minutes of Asbury Park. Depending where you reside, there may be an additional travel fee to your training service charge.

What support can I expect from you?
We provide lifetime support for you and your dog. Whether you need advice, have a question, or want to revisit a skill, we’re always just a call or email away. You can count on us to stay connected whenever you need us.
